Don Christian
Don Christian (BBA ’90, magna cum laude), CPA, CISA, is founder and CEO of EquaNX LLC, a consulting firm that provides executive advice for entrepreneurs, founders and C-suite executives focused on strategic growth, technology adoption, operations improvement and risk management.
He joined Howard University’s Board of Trustees in September 2018 and is a former member of the Board of Visitors for the School of Business.
Christian enjoyed a 36-year career with PricewaterhouseCoopers US as a consulting risk management partner and lead client partner, regional and market leader, and consulting partner supporting organizations in business transformation, technology adoption and risk management. He was formerly a member of the boards of PwC US and PwC Global. He retired from PwC in 2025.
A native of St. Andrew, Jamaica, Christian is the founding chairman of the Jamaica Howard University Affinity Network (JHUAN) which provides scholarships, mentorship and other forms of support to Jamaican students attending Howard. His service to the community also includes being a board member, executive committee member and chair of the audit committee at the McDonogh School, a private coeducational K-12 college preparatory school in Baltimore County, Maryland.
Christian is a certified public accountant and certified information systems auditor and earned a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from Howard. He has an executive education certification from Harvard Business School and has also completed executive education at Carnegie Mellon University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
