Institutional Stewardship

Purpose of Institutional Stewardship

Institutional Stewardship is the department responsible for cultivating and sustaining the university's relationships with its donors, alumni, and philanthropic partners, ensuring that gifts are honored, acknowledged, and used in accordance with donor intent. The team works closely with development, finance, and academic units to track fund usage, prepare donor impact reports, and coordinate recognition events that reinforce trust and long-term engagement. By maintaining rigorous compliance and communication standards, the department safeguards the university's reputation for accountability while strengthening the philanthropic partnerships that support scholarships, research, and institutional growth. Ultimately, it serves as the bridge between the university's mission and the generosity that helps fulfill it.
