Howard Moms Advocacy Scholarship

Navigation is a necessary component to the college experience. The Howard Moms Student and Parent Advocacy group is an important part of the journey.  The goal is to support students regarding admissions, financial aid, housing, and everything else in between, to guide them ‘to and through’ Howard University.

In 2023 one of our own, Leanie Carline Fils '17, lost her battle with depression but her love and light is what we choose to remember about her living. Leanie supported the Howard University Alumni Club of Atlanta and we want to continue to honor her life and legacy with the Howard Moms Advocacy Scholarship award to a deserving student so they can continue in the legacy Leanie began.

Many have asked where to contribute, so we offer this opportunity to be a part of continuing the Leanie Carline Fils Legacy.  The award announcements will be presented at the end of July during our BisonFest college sendoff. Help us meet our $3K goal. Thank you for your consideration and continue to pray for her beautiful family 💜🌸🦋
