Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts
The Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts stands as a beacon of artistic brilliance, fostering creativity, cultural heritage, and academic excellence.
Preparing Students to be Culturally Aware and Globally Engaged
Our programs honor historical context and cultural richness, providing a unique and empowering educational experience that allows students to explore and master their chosen medium. With an emphasis on global perspectives in the arts, the college prepares students to be culturally aware and globally engaged by fostering a vibrant community of creative minds who are not only skilled in their craft but also deeply connected to their cultural heritage. We envision an environment where artistic expression transcends boundaries, where innovation and tradition coalesce, and where each brushstroke, note, and step contributes to the rich tapestry of the human experience.
The College of Fine Arts plays a pivotal role in nurturing and honing the creative talents of our students, providing them with a platform to express themselves through various forms of the arts. However, as we strive to maintain and enhance the quality of education and resources available to our students, we find ourselves facing certain challenges that require immediate attention and support.

College-to-career programs such as Study Abroad, Internships, or Fellowships are designed to prepare every Fine Arts student for career success through experiential learning. Alumni from our College have received national attention and critical acclaim for their talents and contributions in the fine and performing arts fields.
Innovation in Creative Practice and Research
Faculty, students, staff and alum engage in groundbreaking scholarly research and creative practice pushing the boundaries of traditional artistic norms, allowing them to engage in projects that contribute to the evolution of their respective fields.
